Job description - the role

On behalf of UMG, we are looking for a Finance Analyst for a 6 month contract based in London.

Join us as a Finance Analyst:
We are looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join the Asset and Cash Management team. This role is ideal for someone with a finance background. The successful candidate will support inbox management, month-end activities, and both statutory and management reporting.

What you’ll do:

• Managing the Asset Management inbox, responding to queries from various business units in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
• Supporting statutory and management reporting processes in compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Communicating effectively with global stakeholders, including teams based in Germany, Singapore, and the UK.

The skills you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage global interactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• SAP knowledge is essential.
